Stussy x Metalheadz collection designed by DroneBoy

Stussy have collaborated with Metalheadz, the drum and bass label founded by long time Stussy Tribe member Goldie, celebrating the label’s 20th anniversary with the help of Welsh artist DroneBoy.

Long time readers of The Daily Street will recognise the name from the DroneBoy Laundry clothing brand that’s featured on our pages many times. Kicking off their relationship with a limited run of T-shirts back in 2001, DroneBoy and Metalheadz have continued to work together in the years since, leading to this new collection of T-shirts with one of streetwear’s all time greats.

The range includes four Tribe tees – LA, Hoxton (London), New York and Tokyo – as well as four ’20’ years T-shirts for each city. Each design features a different take on the Metalheadz logo with reference to each city – the London design being a nod to the legendary Blue Note Club on Hoxton Square.

I love nothing more than seeing homegrown talent taking to the global stage and this collection is a great example of just how far hard work can get you. The range of both black and white tees is available now from Stussy. Check out the collection below.
