Vans Syndicate 2014 Eric Dressen Pack

Vans once again let skateboard OG and tattoo artist Eric Dressen take the reigns, with a new Syndicate collaboration that incorporates two Vans silhouettes alongside a T-shirt and pair of socks.

Keeping things clean, the 2014 collaboration picks up where 2009’s Syndicate Half Cabs left off with an Army green Old Skool Pro and black Sk8 Hi Pro. Both have a utilitarian feel, coated in DWR-sprayed, water resistant canvas with thick black foxing and military-styled tongue branding similar to that used by WTAPS. Dressen stamps his signature on each with an embroidered arrow logo that also features on a simple, white pocket tee and a pair of army green socks completing what could be seen as Dressen’s signature workwear look.

It’s great to see Dressen get more love in recent years, after the 2011 The Hundreds collaboration and a forthcoming partnership with KR3W – a true OG who deserves the recognition. The latest collaboration is available from Vans Syndicate stockists in the UK now, including Scene.
