Nike x Undercover Gyakusou (styled by END.)

Whenever the words Nike and GYAKUSOU pop up on your screen, you know there’s going to be a collection worth your time. Borrowing some of the most innovative running apparel products from Nike’s ‘Innovation Kitchen’, the Undercover GYAKUSOU design team continue to push the boundaries of technical running apparel.

Building on an already impressive body of work, this AW14 capsule collection develops the apparel to meet the needs of the modern day running enthusiast. There’s a selection of Dri-fit fabrics, tailored airflow and Nike’s Sweat Map technology. There’s also all sorts of other tech’d out innovations that’ll leave your head spinning, including Therma-Fit polyester wool blend panels and Aeroloft 800 technology. Got that? Basically, if you are serious about running, or if you’re interested in the current wave of technological and futuristic street fashion, this collection is for you.

From a utilitarian stand point, you won’t get much better than the apparel here. The timing of this release is relevant as it keeps you warm during the colder months while also keeping you cool when you’re running. It’s all about comfort and practicality. Not only that, it looks excellent too. The colour palette is reserved and a reflection of the commitment to detail, subtlety and minimalist approach we‘ve come to expect from these projects. It’s all about the details here.
