Los Angeles based imprint PRMTVO continue their deliberately strange and unorthodox approach to creating street level fashion. After the esoteric themes found throughout the Time Wave Zero collection, we see the brand turn away from that contemplative outlook and focus on raw expression in this B(A)NANARCHY IN THE U.S.A.! collection.

First of all, the collection boasts a better range of apparel this time around with t-shirts, longsleeves and crew neck sweatshirts complimented by a range of raglans, coach jackets, hooded sweatshirts and snapbacks. The combination of an anarchistic punk spirit and the brand’s continuous themes of man being a primitive, instinctual and spiritual animal makes for a strong idea to base a collection on. The title of the collection says it all.

The designs are simple and reference an part of the punk movement which was an important of its appeal – the DIY attitude. It resurrects the essence of how streetwear was created in it’s early stages. Just going with an idea and seeing where it takes you, without worrying about the results. That instinctual approach is evident here and the brand aren’t afraid of showing you what they’re about.

Look for the collection dropping at Donuts and WoodWood later this month.
