Video: Le Coq Sportif x Prince Jamal x Crepe City archive exhibition Q&A

Ahead of Crepe City 12, Le Coq Sportif and Crepe City teamed up to showcase some of Prince Jamal’s vintage sneaker collection along with a Q&A in London.

It’s always interesting to see an archive collection, especially of vintage running sneakers. Usually, they hold a Swoosh on them, or three stripes, so it’s nice to see a collector who collects something a little different, but with equal taste and quality of design. Let’s face it, Le Coq Sportif aren’t known for their running shoes, they never were, but that doesn’t mean that they haven’t got gems in their history. In fact, they have loads of vintage running gems that have become very relevant in hindsight. We’ve already seen the brand reissue some of them, including the Eclat, Flash and R 1000, and expect to see more continue to hit the market in the future.

If you haven’t discovered it already, I highly recommend a look through Prince Jamal’s Flickr account.
