Original Clarks Wallabees manufacturer Padmore Barnes have created a two colourway release for Parisian sneaker boutique and skate store STARCOW.
The Starcow x Padmore Barnes P405 is a suede moccasin which comes in brown and green and features a chunky Vibram Morflex sole unit. It might strike a marked resemblance to a certain Clarks Wallabee and that would be because Padmore Barnes originally manufactured that shoe. This edition is made in Ireland in the same factory that the Clarks model was originally manufactured in before production was outsourced to China.
The company have been dormant for a decade or so until recently when a member of the family revived the brand. Before its hibernation the brand had previously been stocked at Supreme when it was just the one store in New York. Padmore Barnes is also credited with creating the Weaver boot, but for legal reasons Padmore Barnes name both of their versions of the shoes differently.
Head over to STARCOW to grab a pair for €150, or if you happen to be in Paris, 62-64 rue Saint-Honoré is the place you want.
